Looking for something different than the same old trampoline park birthday party? Make it a special ninja party. Fun games and activities, we take care of the heavy lifting. Packages available for as few as 6 kids all the way to renting the entire gym. Several package options to choose from.
We are ESA certified and have a growing homeschool class program with classes 3 days per week. One hour of instruction and one hour of free play. The kids have so much fun in these classes.
Not to brag but we have one of the top competitive teams in the country. We take over 50 athletes to world finals every year. We host several competitions for both UNAA and FINA each year all are welcome to compete.
We host day and week long camps throughout the summer and school year. As well we host regular field trips and fundraisers available for all groups including churches, PTO's, Corporate team building, sports teams and more.
Everyone is welcome at Hitsquad. Open gym is daily and starts every hour on the hour for 1 and 2 hour time slots. No need to register or reserve a spot, just show up and have fun. We have classes available 6 days per week. Interested in trying out a class? We offer trial classes and drop-ins. Again no need to register. Just find a class time that fits your schedule and show up 10 minutes early to make sure you have an account and the waiver is signed. Open gym or a trial class is the first step before we ever discuss membership.
For open gym and trial classes we don't require a reservation. Open gym just show up (starts every hour on the hour for 1 or 2 hour time slots), making sure you first create an account and sign the waiver. All attendees including parents and guests must sign the waiver. For trial classes, once you pick the class you want to attend show up 10 minutes early before the scheduled time.
We are new, what is the best way to start?
The best way we suggest is to find a level 1 & 2 class (several available during the week) and plan to do a trial class. This will help us gauge what class is best for the student. Or you can simply come enjoy open gym which is free play, guided by staff and coaches. Beginner adult class is Wednesday and we have an all ages first timer class on Saturday mornings too. Classes and open gym daily.
When is open gym available?
Open gym is available anytime we are open. These sessions start every hour on the hour and last for 1 or 2 hours. 2 hours is about max for most kids. On occasion we may close the entire gym for a private event or competition at which time open gym won't be available.
Do I need to wear shoes?
Yes. This is not a trampoline park, shoes are for safety. Close toed athletic shoes only, no crocs or sandals. Shoes are not required on the trampoline or the inflatable obstacle course.
Are there age limits?
Kinda. Kids are allowed to start classes at age 5 as they have to be able to follow instructions from the coaches. We do extend certain events and open gym to younger. On the other end of things we have athletes in their 50's and 60's that enjoy ninja as well. We do have a special toddler program for kids ages 2-4 if you prefer something for the super littles.
Can I drop my kid off?
Yes and no. We are not a day care but parents can drop their kids off for class and on occasion open gym. They must be old enough to be able to handle themselves without constant supervision (be able to get water, go to the bathroom on their own etc). Questions about this just ask.
Do I need to arrive early?
If it is your first time, we recommend showing up 10 minutes early to make sure everything is good with waiver and payment. To save time we recommend signing the waiver ahead of time. To do that simply click the sign waiver button above and create and account. Be sure to add all your family members that will attend the gym, yes that means you too parents.
Do you require contracts?
Unlike other facilities we never have and never will make you sign a contract. If you feel there is someplace better, we encourage you to go there. We pride ourselves on having one of the top ninja/parkour gyms in the country and don't want to handcuff you into staying if you don't want to be with us. We let our team, staff and training speak for itself.
Do you charge coaching fees?
This is actually one of the most common questions we get asked and the answer is NO. We don't ever charge a coaching fee at competitions. Our coaches all compete so there is most likely always one of our coaches available. We actually even help many kids from other gyms that may not have a coach. The only coaching fee would be for a private lesson.
How many coaches do you have?
Most all of our coaches are required to train and compete at ninja if they teach classes. We have several world champions as well as some of the top athletes in the world, including many that have been on the TV show. We always try to maintain a 6 to 1 student to coach ratio for classes. Open gym has fewer supervisors but all our staff in some capacity does ninja. Our coaches are actually experts.
Do you offer discounts?
We offer distance discounts for those that drive more than 30 minutes to get to the gym. We do this as many want the best training for their kids and we like to help them out where we can. We have members that travel from as far as several hours away to train. We also offer sibling discounts, military and first responder discounts and on occasion offer additional promotions and discounts. We also offer discounts to other gym's coaches to be able to get the best training to take back to their gym.
What is the competitive team?
This is a great question. Again not to brag but we have one of the top competitive teams in the country. If we are at an event likely you will see Hitsquad on the podium for the various age groups. We have two levels of competitive team. Our rec team which are kids that want to compete and train for competitions but are not quite ready for the elite team. We have the elite team which is the best of the best and is available by invite only. Competitive team classes contain a mix of physical training and ninja to help the athletes succeed. No matter what if you want to compete we have the training to help you be your best. You are not required to travel but many of our athletes do travel for competitions. You don't have to be on the competitive team to compete either.
What are the costs?
Open gym starts at $10 on the weekday and $14 on the weekend for one hour (pay a few $ more for 2 hours). Trial classes are $15. Memberships start at $160 per month and include open gym privileges. Birthday party packages start at just $150. Competitions are priced anywhere from $50 to $100 depending the event plus any travel costs if you choose to travel.

Hitsquad Ninja Gym was founded by Lee Cates and Brian Rambo in 2019 after they fell in love with the sport and after their appearance on the hit TV show American Ninja Warrior and there wasn't a truly dedicated gym in the state for the sport.
They wanted a fun, inviting and encouraging place that was different than many other gyms. A gym that truly pushed both kids and adults to be their best.
Lee is a decorated Marine combat veteran and August 30th was named Brian Rambo day by the mayor of Tempe thanks to his appearance on the show. Both of which are world champion ninjas.
In 2023 they expanded to their new location next to Costco on the corner of Priest and Elliot in Tempe. A 20,000 sq ft state of the art ninja and parkour facility.
As a gym we provide a safe and inviting space for kids and adults to be their best.
As a result we are one of the most sought after gyms in the country, producing many world champions and more importantly helping kids build confidence, improve physical fitness, build self esteem, meet new friends and more importantly have fun doing it.
We invite you to see why so many people love Hitsquad.
